Palestinian Muslims and Christians in the West Bank convinced some Christian visitors to Jerusalem, tourists whom I know personally, that Israel persecutes Christians. They were easily persuaded of this because of some (very stupid) Jews who spat on them as they walked the streets of Jerusalem. I can't convince them that Israel is not the aggressor. Sigh.
Maybe, tell them to look at the population trend of Christians in Israel and the population trends of Christians in Palestine.
When they see that the population of Christians in Israel is growing while the population of Christians in Palestine is shrinking, ask them to explain why Christians are leaving the areas where they are supposedly treated well and fleeing to the Jewish country which supposedly discriminates against them — according to these ignorant people,
